Roof Replacement & Twin Chimney Rebuilds – Delabole, Cornwall

This project in Delabole involved a complete roof replacement alongside the rebuild of two chimneys. The existing slates were carefully removed and preserved for re-use, while a new breathable felt membrane and treated battens were installed to improve the roof's performance and longevity. The roof was then re-slated using a combination of reclaimed slates and additional matching reclaimed materials, all fixed with Grade 316 stainless steel hooks for maximum durability.

The project also included the rebuild of two chimneys and the reinstallation of reclaimed ridge tiles using a modern dry-fix system, providing a secure, maintenance-free finish while retaining the property's traditional character.
